We know how valuable volunteer time is – without it, Washington Youth Soccer wouldn’t exist! So, how can you help reward your nonprofit’s volunteers and how can your volunteers help reward you? Check out the free Cabot Creamery Reward Volunteers iPhone app and web app and start logging volunteer hours with your organization.
When volunteers log hours on behalf of your club or association using Reward Volunteers, the volunteer will be in the running for great individual prizes (like an Alaskan cruise or cash prizes) and in July, five nonprofit organizations will be given $3000 cash prizes.
For your club or association to be eligible, it needs to have a Facebook page. When volunteers log their hours for your organization, they must use the exact name of your Facebook page to earn Reach points – points for getting message out about volunteering. They’ll earn Reach points with every hour they log, every Reward Volunteers email that their friends read, and every “like” or comment their friends make on their Facebook posts about Reward Volunteers. Prizes are then awarded to the top Reach point volunteers and organizations.

Thanks for sharing, Gail! We’re pretty excited about the Reward Volunteers app and did a story about it in our last email newsletter sent out to all of our players, coaches, and volunteers: http://washington.bestsoccerever.com/2012/Mar/cabot.html. We also like the cheese 🙂 – Hillary
